This privacy policy governs this prelaunch website and early-access waitlist only. A separate, comprehensive policy will be published when the full DoRents marketplace launches.

This notice covers the current prelaunch waitlist. Company details, data retention periods, and international transfer information have not been finalised and will be added before the marketplace opens.
1. Who this policy applies to
This privacy policy applies exclusively to visitors of this prelaunch website (https://dorents.com) and individuals who submit their contact information to our early-access waitlist. It does not govern user accounts, item listings, or payment transactions on any future DoRents marketplace application.
2. What data we collect and why
When you join our early-access waitlist, we collect and store:
- Email address: Used to send you a confirmation link and to notify you about launch news and availability.
- Interest category: Whether you intend to rent items, share items you own, or both. This helps us gauge supply and demand balance.
- Optional city / location: If provided, helps us understand interest by area.
- Timestamps and consent record: When you submitted consent, the policy version consented to, and verification status.
3. Data storage and service providers
We store waitlist records in a database hosted by Supabase, and send emails through a mail delivery service. Access to these records is restricted.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address or personal data to third-party marketing brokers or advertising networks. We do not use third-party tracking pixels or behavioral ad trackers on this prelaunch site.
4. Email confirmation links
Confirmation links sent by email expire after 48 hours and can be used once. Opening a link does not confirm your request; you must click the confirmation button on the page.
5. Unsubscribing and your rights
You may unsubscribe from our early-access list at any time:
- Every email contains an explicit unsubscribe link.
- You can also visit our unsubscribe page directly.
- You may request complete deletion of your waitlist record by emailing support@dorents.com.
